I see the Greatest Light
2nd Ray Words of Power

A Contemplation by Donna Mitchell-Moniak

For me, this mantra is a golden crown inlaid with precious gems. They alternate red, blue, blue, red on either side of a blazing blue white diamond. Each meditative absorption keys a jewel; the red is of various emptinesses, and the blue is the many profound blisses of compassion.

"I see the greatest Light"

Red — outer left — limitless perception that gives birth to all perspective and thus all relativity.

Blue — next in — the smile of understanding that "this will pass." Relativity has birthed the understanding that all circumstance and conditions are specific in space-time and thus will give way to the next NOW. The bliss of compassion expressed is unfoldment.

Red — inner right — Sunyata IS always perfect dynamic relation. Resonance is Ultimate Being.

Blue — outer right — compassion is the fierce mother-womb. It is the greatest power. It is Dragon-shakti, breaker of foes. Compassion is the Ultimate Conqueror. Nothing can withstand its absorbing embrace. It is the blue-black hole that swallows stars, and is the softness of ocean receiving every rain drop, and is the open heart re-solving all suffering. The bliss is Dzogchen.

The diamond — "I see the greatest Light" — is Enlightenment and its unfettered light careening through the known and taking it beyond the speed of light. It is the diamond mirror of self-made reality that has met all-self, blinked, entered, and come undone. Enlightenment (seeing the greatest light) is an inverse big bang re-silencing all sound

Explanation of These Jewels of Contemplation

"I see the greatest Light" is the always constant and thus brand new illumination of the current frames of reference and context which the mind then the consciousness are using to measure, codify, and relate within. In one's current experience of the greatest light, perception opens making known that which was not before and relating that which was not in rapport before, thus bringing greater clarity. Seeing the greatest light is never an end but always a means, even if we don't know that. Anyone might cling to the current illumination or understanding labeling it as this or that and creating a personal reference point to it, but the next experience of light will modify and qualify the already known and named, rendering it to its correct fractal position.

This ongoing process is the creator of perspective, which in turn is the birth point of relativity. Everything is relative, nothing is not. All insights are meaningful but only in context and relation to other knowns and values, to other frames of reality, and within perspective. Relativity is light revealing the new as valued and putting that which was valued or devalued into a proper light, a fuller meaning, or a clearer understanding. "I see the greatest Light" is at once above, within, through, and empty all because it is the constant generative source of perspective and relativity and thus of always new and expanded understanding.

Unfoldment is the ever undoing of the current form to make way for a new emerging form.
We see this easily in a plant. The stalk unfolds vertically. The current inch will be old in a matter of days as the stalk grows. The stalk will yield leaves which will unfold from within the substance of the stalk, literally unfurling to their fullness. And the bud will swell and unfold becoming the blossom. In each phase, yet ongoingly and not separate, the plant has unfolded by undoing its current form in order for the new emerging form and phase to express.

Human consciousness is the same. The unfoldment of human consciousness, individually and collectively, is and requires the undoing of our current form of awareness and use of that awareness/ignorance to make way for the next which will be expanded or more inclusive. Unto itself, consciousness has no limits but the mind does. "I see the greatest Light" is to stare into the undoing of any current form of understanding and know that it will fade into the inclusivity of the next. Thus we learn first-hand to not take many things so seriously and personally, but instead, that all things and understandings pass and are undone by the next wider context or frame of Reality.

Sunyata IS always perfect dynamic relation. Resonance is Ultimate Being.
Sunyata is void, openness, emptiness. Being void of any conditioning or constitutional factors it can only be perfect relation and rapport perfectly emanating. This emanation that is the emptying that undoes and the openness that births provides that sunyata is dynamic and never is not. Thus sunyata is, in fact, perfect dynamic relation. "I see the greatest Light" is a statement of just this. The arising of light is always dynamic. It always brings new relation to mind and consciousness. It creates the simplicity of rapport and intuitive relation. Thus the rapport is always perfect and never is not. Therefore, sunyata is a non-dual experience of the at-oned perfect state of any current NOW and its dynamic livingness.

Resonance is Ultimate Being.
Sunyata, when it becomes a function and not just a state of meditative experience is an emanating wave of perfect quality rippling through consciousness-substance. Its self-propelling non-dual nature re-solves whatever it moves through creating pure resonance and thus the undoing of duality. This is an experience or expression of Ultimate Being.

Compassion is resonance.
It absorbs all into the ever-state of gestation-becoming, which is the state of always being undone thus forever truly empty. Resonance is the re-sounding of like to like, perfectly meeting, completely dynamically met such that the new re-does as it undoes the old or past or currently existing known. As such compassion is the fierce mother-womb, the ultimate conqueror that nothing can withstand. Why? Because compassion completely openly and unfailingly stands with. This is its unstoppable power and why it is the Dragon-shakti, the breaker of foes. Being empty-open compassion perceives none as foe, nothing as anti, thus with the thoughtform denuded the foe does not exist. All is absorbed into compassion. This is a greatest Light: the denuding born of the effulgence of Light and the unstoppable nature of compassion is the same as Light which is also unstoppable, and compassion always births—fiercely so.

Enlightenment.
Even conceptually it makes sense that "seeing the Greatest Light" would be an experience that is part of enlightenment. And may it be so. The Tibetan master D.K.'s statement regarding the Path as a "series of graded revelations" points to an ultimate, though not final, Greatest Light that would with and as part of Compassion absorb, undo, re-do, and completely free one into the Void of All Pervasive Non-Dual Unfettered Light and Compassion. "I see the Greatest Light" would then be the statement the freed one would know, knowing that All is that freed ONE, awake as Light, not just in light.

These 2nd Ray words of Power, then, embody, point in the direction of, and describe the ongoing, ceaseless Path to Enlightenment—its trajectory, experiences, service, and function—and the Ultimate Reality that not only the 2nd Ray conveys, but also the 2nd aspect which the 2nd Ray always veils. These words reveal humanity's Path, its method of achievement, the personal and eventually non-dual and All-Self experiences of the evolution of consciousness, and these words of power describe their result: enlightenment.

May it be so.
